As the Chairman of our esteemed organization, I am filled with pride as I reflect on our transformation from BK OFW to BK GLOBAL FILIPINO. This change is more than just a new name—it marks a significant shift in our mission and the expansion of our reach.
We started back in 2005 as BK OFW, standing for "BANTAY KASANGGA Overseas Filipino Workers." Our goal was to protect and support Filipinos working overseas. Through our efforts, we've provided countless services to help our fellow Filipinos abroad and have gained recognition for our dedication.
In 2008, our commitment was acknowledged by the Saudi government when we voluntarily cleaned up tons of garbage along the city's seaside. This act was not only about cleaning up; it was about showing our care for our community and earning respect internationally.
Our journey didn't stop there. In 2019, we played a crucial role in the creation of the Philippine government's Department of Migrant Workers, advocating for the rights and needs of OFWs.
Now, in 2023, we have begun a new chapter as BK GLOBAL FILIPINO. This new name reflects our expansion worldwide, reaching Filipinos not just in the Middle East but also in the United States, Canada, Europe, and beyond. Our mission has grown to include all Filipinos living outside the Philippines, not just those working overseas.
As BK GLOBAL FILIPINO, our vision is to unite Filipinos around the world and use AI technology to contribute to the economic development of the Philippines. We are excited about the BK GLOBAL FILIPINO ECONOMIC COOPERATION (BK GFEC) initiative, a bold step towards fostering economic ties among Filipinos globally.
This transformation is a testament to our unwavering commitment to our people and our homeland. Together, we are ready to make a lasting and positive impact across borders, creating a brighter future for all Filipinos, no matter where they are in the world.

In this vein, we are proud to introduce the BK AI Private App. This innovative tool leverages Artificial Intelligence to bolster the livelihoods of our OFWs by promoting digital small business opportunities, empowering individuals and households, and thereby reinforcing the backbone of the Philippine economy.

The journey of BK OFW, or "BANTAY KASANGGA Overseas Filipino Workers," is an inspiring tale of dedicated service and transformation over the years. Established in 2005, their acronym signifies their mission as a watchdog and defender of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs). Their commitment to assisting OFWs in any way possible led them to offer a wide range of services, becoming a valuable support system for Filipinos working abroad.
Respect Earned Through Services
In 2008, BK OFW's extraordinary community service efforts in Saudi Arabia gained recognition from the Saudi government. They initiated a voluntary cleanup operation along the city's seaside, collecting tons of garbage.
This initiative was driven by their determination to earn respect for Filipino workers from the Saudi authorities.

BK OFW's unwavering dedication continued, and in 2019, they played a crucial role in the establishment of the Philippine government's Department of Migrant Workers, representing the interests of OFWs.
By 2023, BK OFW had evolved into BK GLOBAL FILIPINO, expanding their reach globally to countries such as the United States, Canada, Europe, and beyond, where Filipino communities are thriving. With this expansion, they broadened their mission, encompassing not only overseas Filipino workers but all Filipinos living abroad.
The vision of BK GLOBAL FILIPINO is to unite the global Filipino community and leverage AI technology to create a digital economic platform, aimed at advancing economic development in the Philippines. This initiative is known as BK GLOBAL FILIPINO ECONOMIC COOPERATION (BK GFEC). Their journey is a testament to the transformative power of dedication and the global reach of the Filipino spirit.

Our Priority Project
BK Saving Ai Private App
The BK AI Private App is a digital platform developed by the Bantay at Kasangga ng mga OFW International Organization, commonly known as "BK OFW International," to support its members worldwide. This app is designed to enhance the economic well-being of its users through several key features:
- Savings from Expenses: Every time BK OFW members send money to their loved ones or spend money, they can simply take a photo of their receipts using the app. This unique system then converts these spending activities into cash savings, providing an additional source of income.
- Business Platform: For BK OFW members who own businesses, this app provides a digital platform to conduct transactions online. It supports the operation of online stores and utilizes other digital tools to facilitate business activities, making it easier for members to manage and grow their businesses.
- Livelihood Opportunities: The app also extends its benefits to the family members of BK OFW members by providing opportunities to engage in the AI Home Economics Livelihood programs. This initiative helps families establish and sustain home-based businesses, contributing to their financial stability and growth.
Overall, the BK AI Private App is a multifunctional tool that not only helps members manage and save money but also supports their business endeavors and provides economic opportunities for their families.
